Sure I know I'm piggybacking off a similar thread. FWIW don't trust brickseek or the Walmart app to have the current price for your store. Mine were showing a few in stock but at $797.00. I headed to my local store today in Murrieta, CA and they had one right there front and center with a big $284.00 sign on it. Lesson learned. Go and do a physical check if possible. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Seems like a strategically smart move by them. If customers actually come into the store to check prices on clearance items they may end up leaving the store with other items.

Is 38,000 BTU sufficient for a 768 sq. in. griddle? I've never owned a griddle before, but I've had a few Weber grills and those had usually 12,000 BTU per burner. Most 4-burner outdoor griddles I've seen are in the 48,000–60,000 BTU range (about 12k–15k per burner). With 38,000 BTU total for 4 burners, that's roughly 9,500 BTU per burner, which seems on the lower side compared to others.

It's Omnivore which means the metal is thinner which I don't like. I went with the 60k BTU old school one from Tractor Supply for this very reason. Plus watch some videos those thinner tops can warp easier.
