Ugly Mini PC but can't imagine getting better performance from any computer for $360. A similar model with the upgraded 8845HS is on their website for $400 (and was a previous +40 Front page deal), but the opportunity to use eBay gift cards and get cash back offers made this the better deal for me.

There was previously a comment linking to an eBay page that had this computer for only $49.99. It is very very very likely a scam, which is why SlickDeals deleted it. Well, I was curious so I went to the page. Expectedly, the seller just joined eBay a few days ago. And of course, the seller has 0 feedback and this computer is its only item for sale. Just for the fun of it, I decided to make an offer for $27.38 and see if/how they respond. Being adventurous, I might just pay the whole $49.99 if they reject my offer. I don't expect any computer in the mail, but do expect eBay to refund my money. In fact, I expect them to delete the page in a few days and refund all buyers.

Repped the original poster for the description. "Ugly" was exactly the my first thought when I saw the photo. But yeah, that CPU is a powerhouse and the price can't be beat.

It's been about 18 months since I bought 2 mini PCs. Both cost a little more than $100 and the stats were less of course than this one. One was Asus and the second was Ace Magic. I am still using both without any issues. I am actually using the Ace Magic for daily browsing, email, etc. and the Asus as a Plex server - nothing else.

I did do a complete reinstall of Windows 11 on both and have not had any issues with that whole thing.

I had some problems with the Ace Magic when I first got it. The pretty LCD they advertised never worked and one of the USB ports was erratic - sometimes worked, other times just quit. I contacted Customer Support multiple times and never heard from them. However, given the minor issues I just kept using it.

For the prices I paid I would have to say I am happy with the two mini–PCs I bought - they certainly do save space on my desktop. However, with the lack of any response from Ace Magic Customer Support, I would not order another one of their products again.

PLEX:

This compact beast is ideal for a Plex Media Server, capable of handling 8–12 1080p or 1–2 4K transcoded streams with hardware acceleration (Plex Pass recommended for GPU transcoding). It's also great for multitasking, light gaming, or other home server tasks.
Key Pros:
Powerful Performance: Ryzen 7 8745HS (PassMark ~24,000) and Radeon 780M iGPU support multiple streams and modern codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1), perfect for 4K Plex transcoding.
Fast Connectivity: Dual 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, WiFi 6, and USB4 (40Gbps) ensure smooth streaming and external storage expansion.
Generous Memory & Storage: 32GB DDR5 (upgradeable to 96GB) and 1TB SSD (dual M.2 slots, up to 4TB) handle large libraries and heavy multitasking.
Efficient Cooling: Dual fans and copper heatsinks keep temps ≤70°C, with a quiet 35W mode for 24/7 operation (~38dB).
Comparable Product: Beelink SER8 (Ryzen 7 8745HS, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD) retails for $500–$600, making the ACEMAGIC a steal at $360.
