I was tempted by the $250 12gb 3060 on Newegg, but I figure I might as well go ahead and pay up to get on a modern architecture now. Sure, the rumored supers coming out later this year/next year are likely better value, but there's no telling 1) exactly when they'll come out and 2) how attainable they'll be.
I was trying to use Newegg's trade-in program, and the expected price and convenience for my trade in seemed reasonable, but my exact model PowerColor card wasn't listed and customer support on the phone told me to submit the form about a missing card and wait 1-2 business days.
By getting this card now via Amazon, I 1) get return piece of mind and 2) get it delivered tomorrow with my Prime membership and 5% cash back using my Prime CC. Also, Newegg's returns and shipping don't have a reputation of being quite as frictionless and quick as Amazon's.
Hope this helps someone thinking about getting this card who's in a similar situation.
Here's the link to that card: https://www.newegg.com/zotac-twin...68145005
Was about to pull the trigger on this. Thank you for the information

I would personally get the 5070 (and in fact, I did) at $550 as it is considerably faster and much more 1440p high refresh rate capable.
That said, this is a good deal IF you are upgrading from a 3060 or lower, have a limited power supply/cooling setup (it's only 180W; similar to a 3060 but above a 4060 ti), and don't want to spend $300 for a 5060 or $550 for a 5070, both of which have a better performance/price ratio. This card would be a good deal if you can make use of the 16GB of VRAM, but at 1080p gaming, you likely won't for some time, as current games require only 8-12GB at that resolution.
