At 21L, this is hardly gigantic. The decision to design around 16" laptops is kind of strange, but 15" models still exist.

I have a SwissGear 1900 for work. It fits anything I might need, and sometimes that means adding a client's 17" laptop to my haul, or plenty of tooling to build out a data center rack or a conference room. At 31L it is quite large. But nothing is cramped, everything is always easy to access, and it compresses well enough when I need it to.

Really, I think the posted laptop would be better for me 95% of the time. It just wasn't the deal when I needed a new backpack for hauling around work stuff.
