Just ordered one! At the very least, it'll look good sitting in my game room.

What is the use case here? If you want to use the xbox as a media center?

The controller is far superior for other stuff.

Please don't get one of these unless you already use your Xbox as a media player.

I bought PS5 and Xbox Series remotes on launch day, thinking I would use them all the time. I didn't end up using them as media players, and neither does anybody else in my 6-person household. I mostly just open the battery compartment up every few months to make sure it isn't starting to get corroded.

great controller for plex, etc. the number pad is great for pin entry logging in and makes streaming easy for everyone. But, if you dont regularly use your xbox for streaming dont bother. There is no other practical use for it on the xbox and it needs IR line of sight so it could be useless to you depending on how your xbox is situated.

It's for when the technologically illiterate want to watch a movie on "the Nintendo".

The One S is a cheap way to play 4K blu rays but not everyone is familiar with gamepads.

the one s doesn't have BluRay but yes you can stream 4k. I already have a Google sony tv so i just stream everything through those apps. I have the series x except I don't think. I have ever used the 4k Blu Ray player. I still have a Sony Blu ray player that plays just old school Blu Ray's. so yea that controller would be useful for someone that actually uses their console as a media center

The One S does have Blue Ray, you are thinking of the Series S.
