I'm confused. How is this better than buying 8lbs of peaches @ $1.50/lb? Or is this only a deal because literally everything on amazon is a deal no matter the product or price these days?

I genuinely wish we had decent functioning gov'ts (and not being partisan here!) that strictly mandated truth in labeling.

If something is mostly water and sugar, then it should be called "Fruit-flavored sugar water" or something like that. I know Marketing folks would absolutely throw a fit, but shopping would be so much more convenient not having to check labels all the time.

Similarly, if something is 95% (cheap) apple juice, companies should not be allowed to call it a "Berry Smoothie" just because it has 4% berry powder + sugar + 'natural berry flavors'.
