I've used a different brand at a few FL campgrounds where the flys were horrible and they worked phenomenal. I already have 4 or I'd pick these up thanks OP.

Ordered two sets to total 8, but only got 4. Sent email to customer service and have not heard back.

Ordered these a few weeks ago. Just a heads up, they are not collapsible. The ship small, but once expanded, they are permanently locked into place. They warn you with a little note when you open, but people at your house are likely to try folding them at some point, breaking the thin plastic.

This is mostly true, I certainly managed to collapse it a couple times before I realized.. so maybe not permanently, but close to it

I bought this 4 pack, and they only shipped one. Automated response, to return it, not "sorry, I'll send you the other three".

Does it really work ? What about yellowjackets ? mosquitos?
How does it work, I mean how does it manage to have bugs fly into it ? Or is it to keep em away?

I dont have these specific units but instead something very similar from Costco - they are basically fans with very flimsy blades that are reflective. The blades are flimsy enough that they don't hurt if you get your hand in them. I think it's enough of a distraction for insects that they don't bother flying around. I used these for a party about a month ago and they worked wonders.

I must have gotten lucky, mine collapse almost by themselves. Maybe there is a certain amount of pressure that locks them extended?

These are predominantly to keep flies from whatever is below the fan. They don't do anything to deter other flying insects from the area, just keeps anything from flying into what is below the blades. Only other practical use I've found, is keeping my cat off the kitchen counter.
