In true SD fashion and FOMO, I, of course, ordered two.
This is a bad product. Unless you just want the Gorillapod section. Don't buy it for the mount.
I physically went through 3 units of this. I brought it back to the Physical location. And ON location i went through Two more units all having the same issue with the mount not opening. You'll see reviews mentioning this on Amazon also.
I got a refund because for me it was easy as i was physically there and demonstrated 3 units were bad.

I had problems with the Tablet version. Maybe the phone version is better? But i really doubt it because it is the same mechanism that made the mount bad.

Was your issue with the clamp sticking? Not opening?
I think you just have to jiggle it a bit. I really like my tablet version. But yeah, its different from this one.
The thing I really like about these B&H sales is that the used version prices also plummet as well. Currently they are sitting at 9-12$

I never even considered the possibility that this one might somehow NOT have magnetic feet, and, if it arrives without them, I will be very, very disappointed...

Why, I do not know, but I'm not sure whether I would have placed my order if I had known in advance. Thanks @awid for mentioning it, I should have paid more attention to the comments before buying.
