85u7k - 684 dimming zones, Google TV, 2023, 144hz, built in subwoofer, WiFi 6e, fantastic reflection handling, hisense specs state 2 year warranty.
85u65qf - 576 dimming zones, FireTV, 2025, 144hz, built in subwoofer, WiFi 6 (not 6e), poor handling of direct reflections,Amazon states 2 year manufacturer warranty but Hisense specs state 1 year.
Personally - after having a fire TV and getting a fire tv stick 4k max and a free Google Chromecast 4k. I prefer the Google TV much more. It felt smoother and more responsive than both firetv options.
Return policies: rant included so you can stop reading lol
Walmart - Being able to return to store the same day if something is wrong is a plus for me after ordering online. I've only done this once but it was fast and easy with a very short wait on the refund (same day while I was still in Walmart)
Amazon -(sold/shipped by Amazon) due to my location in northern Arizona, I have no UPS store except a 120 mile trip to the closest (the nearest one within 30 miles stopped accepting packages and closed it's doors to the public) and my last 2 returns which I rarely do, were drop off at UPS store or have the shipping fee deducted from my refund to schedule a UPS pickup (with no options to print a free shipping label) despite supposedly free returns, talking with a handful of managers over a few days, I lost out on shipping both times and there's nothing they could do with how returns were processed for my area or provide a shipping label through email or waive the pickup fee. Made me think twice if it arrives cracked, what it'll cost to return.
