not sure why the thumbs down . i have had this lifetime service for a few years and it's been solid
yup, i got a lifetime for $16 back in 2021.
there's been a lot of grief along the way
but they continue to honor my lifetime.
(i'm just not allowed to use "pro" outlets)
i p2p it briefly every week to get copies
of late night ota talk shows i slept thru.
i use their pc client in win11 without issue.
when i have problems, their email based support
may take a day to get back to me, but we always
solve whatever it was at issue. most of the time
i need to log out, reinstall the client, log back in,
and that solve things.
i guess it depends on your use case. i mean if you really
depend on a vpn daily, then fvpn would not be a good choice,
but if you are an intermittent user who does not mind the occasional
troubleshoot, then pay it once and forget it "lifetime" is terrific.
I've had this for a while. I log into my account fine, but the Android app using the same credentials says "something went wrong." Doesn't matter how good the price is if it isn't usable.
Just switched over to Mullvad VPN.

Same here. Bought the service in 2022 for $18 from stacksocial as well. Still works fine. The speed is not great but serviceble for streaming(not 4k). Torrents work on European servers. I recommend either use wireguard or openvpn and avoid their apps. It's always a gamble with these 'lifetime' vpn. My last gamble was with tigerVPN(also from stacksocial) and that lasted about 5 years for also around $20 which I felt was a good value.
