How does this compare to the $20 knock offs in recently? I get there are the nice dewalt $150 chainsaw pruners and $20 chainsaw that mostly work. I just don't want to get a low tier worx which is on the unhappy middle

I'm happy with the $20 (though I dont expect it to last forever), for heavy duty lawn work I would go with dewalt/ego, maybe worx's build quality is slightly better and some could reuse its battery if already invested in the system, but for me its not a better deal.

Same here, I have two of the Cheapo knockoffs. They get hot doing more than they are designed for, and I work them pretty hard, but they are a great value. Unfortunately, every WORX tool I have bought was only marginally better at 4x the price. I gave my worx mower away it sucked so bad.
