It depends a little. It's a 5600g with the iGPU disabled so that's why you don't get PCI-E 4 support and it has half the cache of a 5600x. For things that are sensitive to cache, like games, it does suffer from the lower cache amount and is probably closer to the 3600. For things that don't care much about the cache it should be a lot closer to a 5600g or 5600x.

This is not a bad price on the bundle but it is a little awkward. Just not really sure who this makes sense for. I have a hard time recommending a new AM4 system for anything but the most budget constrained scenarios so an iGPU would be nice for your basic web browsing, office apps type usage but this doesn't have it so you need to add a GPU. If you are adding a discrete GPU the lower cache will hurt the gaming performance in at least some situations. Then again you aren't pairing this with a 5090 so it's entirely possible you'll just end up GPU limited anyway and be okay. Just remember if you are looking at benchmarks this is going to be closest to a 5600g.

If this was the 5600g it would make a great officially supported windows 11 upgrade, potentially even reusing some DDR4 from a previous build. If it was a 5600x the gaming performance with a discrete GPU would be better. DDR4 price also seems to be up quite a bit, at least here in the US so that makes the price difference between AM4 and AM5 even smaller.

Must have a lot of defective Cezanne chips....

Great if you need to upgrade some Skylake or Haswell system. CPU doesn't have PCIe 4.0 hardware even though the board does.

Neither part are what I'd call high performance.

Apparently if you use the PCIe x16 slot, you disable the top M.2 slot? Maybe it runs slower off the chipset? Board gets decent reviews on Amazon.

Awesome for a little server or living room PC. Pair it with a used rx 6xxx series card from eBay and you got a little powerhouse steam machine.

What's a good 6xxx and what's a good price for used on ebay?

Reviews say this performs similar to a R5 3600, which while a good CPU in its day, is getting a bit long in the tooth now. Still a good price since it's like getting either one free + mouse but I would want a slightly newer CPU for a better GPU. Seems like even the 5600 is quite a bit better, so this might be fine for a cheaper build or regular use.

"The PCIEX16 slot can only support a graphics card or an NVMe SSD. If only one graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot."
Eh? Can you have GPU and also nvme m.2 at same time (different slots)?

I think that's just an odd way of indicating that it doesn't support bifrication and that the top PCI-E slot is the only 16x slot. The bottom one is a 4x electrical slot. The M2 section says the top M2 slot is off the CPU and would be a PCI-E gen 3 slot with this processor and the second M2 slot is off the chipset so neither should have anything shared with the primary PCI-E slot for the GPU.
