A lot of people use product like this as an aid for drying. Not sure about this product in particular but most are a soap/wax hybrid - sort of a light lubricant that also waxes in between proper wax jobs.

I use it for a claybar lubricant, and for priming buffing pads when I'm going to polish. Another thing I use it for is for wiping off dirt, bird droppings etc between washings (spot cleaning). Useful also for wiping off door jams and around the doors, places where your car washing process doesn't typically clean.

So I can use it to initially wash caked on dirty car?

No it's not for initial washing. You either spray on your car and buff off after washing for a nice shine and some protection, or you use it for touching up smaller areas. Fingerprints, maybe you got a splash of mud, you wipe off that area then spray some quick detailer in that area.

This is to keep a clean car clean. Wipe off dust, yes. Clean a heavily soiled car, no.

Nope. It's a traditional quick detailer. One of the few left, and a really good one.

That said most people are way better off buying a small bottle of Uber sio2 rinseless wash concentrate. Way more flexible.

Just looking for something to remove fingerprints, smudges from time to time. Can you use Uber for that? If I use it for spot-removals, will those areas show up as really shiny compared to the rest of the car? I ask because the description says it's super slick and glossy.

Its perfect for figerprints and light dirt. If the rest of your car is dirty, it will make it obvious, but its not going to make the area you used it on glow. If you've used any quick detailer before, similar results, lower price per ounce and longer lasting protection (in fact it lasts longer than most traditional waxes!).
