Soft serve would be cool. There is no attachment for the normal model to gain the feature
There's a million for sale dirt cheap since 90% of people can't be bothered to learn how to use something that is more complex than 'insert, push button.'
It's easy to use and works incredibly well. Only drawback is it's loud as hell.
It's consistently 4.5-5 star on pretty much every site, other than those 1 star reviews that mostly fall into those above categories (and presumably the usual odd DOA here and there that happens with everything).
This is the Swirl, are you sure you're comparing the right models? Personally I don't think the Swirl is worth the premium over the regular version's Deluxe for the "presses out the icecream" gimmick, but I'm definitely not seeing "a lot of bad reviews" by comparison, and if soft serve specifically is what you're after, the gimmick could easily be worth it over people still wanting to get Dairy Queen instead just because one "doesn't look like soft serve".
