Bought one last sale and it had the worst stick drift I've ever seen. Buyer Beware! I couldn't even calibrate it at all, completely unusable.

The regular (non-refurbished) one used to regularly come on sale for $90-$100. Albeit, I haven't seen one of those postings in a while.

Refurbished doesn't bother me. This will go bad within a year and you will need to use warranty for another refurbished anyways.

I think those were usually for the core model, the black one here is the full kit with the case, dock and extra parts. Core only comes with the adjustment tool

$80 with all the accessories....I'll bite. My first one lasted a few years, then bought a core which I've had no issues with until now with the rubber grip coming off but still works.

Hmm in for one for my kid. Probably should've got 3 for all 3 of them but I'll see what I get first.

I bought an elite 2 about 4 years ago. Over time the leather grip will start to separate from the base. Microsoft does offer a replacement for the front plate for $25. But the back plate you'll have to go to Amazon and have some technical abilities to replace.

For me the weak point on these has been the bumpers not registering a press and giving up when holding.

Kind of wanting to find something better than my wireless Xbox 360 controllers for PC gaming. Should I get this, or an 8bitdo pro 2? Enjoy the 8bitdo pro2 for switch but idk about PC

For PC you can't go wrong with 8bitdo. Those will have Hall sticks. This doesn't.

I can't speak to longevity but I got the Vader 4 Pro for $50 off Ali. Xbox layout, extra back buttons, and customizable joystick resistance! It's been great so far.

I bought one like 2 years back, it had connection issues ( would randomly disconnect) and I sent it in 3 times using the extended extra warranty. they would send back the exact same controller until I stopped trying. there was no way to track the warranty claim or see if they had notes on the return, or communicate with the repair place. it's in a box in my closet, not a great use of my money.
