I would be really careful with this type of frame without a foundation or bunkie board. Seems like it would definitely promote sag having such small metal slats.

I have this exact frame, had it for a few years. No complaints other than sometimes remotes or cell phones fall in between this and the bed frame and very tough to retrieve.

I had a similar Zinus bedframe that I bought several years ago; and it served me pretty well at that time as I was a traveling consultant with gigs lasting upto an year sometimes....this bed can easily be dismantled and hauled away...mine actually came with a bed cover too...I have seen a hack where someone cut a plywood plank; screwed it to the back of the frame to make a makeshift headboard with some felt pad stapled on to it to match the room decor.

Completely agree. I had one of these for 3 months and hated it. Lack of vertical slats means that you cannot sit upright at the the top/bottom edge of the bed as the bed sinks.

Bought this 2 months ago for the same price on woot, solid frame for the price, impossible to beat for $30. Have another zinus bed frame with a headboard that is going on 5 years with zero issues.
