If you're interested in buying genuine Sonicare heads, one way to check if they are legit is to use a free app called "NFC Tools" to scan for the RFID chip in the base of the head. I bought what I thought was genuine heads from a 3rd party seller on Amazon, and they looked very convincing down to the packaging and product, and they were even made to LOOK like they had an RFID chip, but when I tried to scan it with the app it came back empty. I returned them and bought at Costco instead. The Costco ones scanned fine.

Costco almost always has 8 heads for $50, so this is really just matching their regular price.

I've bought non Sonic branded heads and they are not the same quality, but also they are about 1/3 the cost. So I recommend that if you are going the cheap route, just buy off brand ones as you know you are buying off brand ones.

I've not found Sonic branded heads for less than Sam's or Costco has them and so won't buy branded ones anywhere else. They are cheapest there and those two stay on top of their supply chains to prevent counterfeit products from entering their stores.
