I also mentioned in the other thread that the controller and all the power and wiring is in an unsealed outlet box under the bike with two huge holes cut on the sides for the wires to get frayed on. Also, one big puddle could fill this box with water. I ordered rubber grommets for 5 bucks, and will install with a little silicone when they come in to seal them. I just wanted all of you to be aware since most of you won't realize rhis.
I feel this bike is the modern day equivalent of the classic red scooter. The pedals work for shorter people, but it's so heavy, it's really not realistic to equate it as a 'moutain bike'. I think it's meant for urban uses such as the guy on YouTube doing doordash.
All parts were included and arrived as described on the product page. The front and rear brake were calibrated correctly on arrival. The rear derailleur was also per-calibrated out of the box. Assembly involves mounting the handlebars, mounting the rear rack, attaching the front wheel, attaching front and rear lights, and affixing the pedals. The bike comes with all the tools required for assembly. Assembly took roughly 30-40 minutes on my front porch. The shifter and derailleur are branded Shimano parts.
The bike is quick! I weigh 200lbs (91kg) and the bike gets up to speed within 2-4 seconds on pedal assist setting 3. With a 200lb rider the bike seems to max out at 22 miles per hour on flat ground. The bike shifts easily through it's 7 pedal gears. At maximum speed you will not be able to add power to the bike with the pedals, you will be spinning the pedals or 'ghost pedaling' on pedal assist setting 3; even in the highest gear. This is true of basically all e-bikes that reach this speed.
I am 5'10" (178cm) and the bike fits me, but I feel I am toward the maximum height to ride comfortably. Exercise caution if you are > 6' tall.
I have not tested the range or charging speed yet.
The brakes work, but they are mechanical brakes. Exercise caution on a bike this heavy with mechanical brakes, because they do not stop the bike immediately. They slow down the bike and bring it to a gradual stop over a short distance.
If you order this bike you should immediately take action to weatherproof the controller. The controller is in a compartment beneath the battery. The wires that come out of this compartment are run through completely unsealed holes. These holes expose the very sensitive electronic controller to potential atmospheric dust and water. The compartment is also placed in a way that is likely to cause the rear wheel to splash puddle water into the wire hole. This repair should done IMMEDIATELY after you construct the bike. Leaving this hole unsealed will destroy your bike eventually.
Personally, I am in love with this quick little bike. It is an great value for the price. The quality of the frame and the overall care that was obviously put into it's production and shipping genuinely surprised me. I don't understand how they can sell such a well constructed bike, with a 13AH battery, and a powerful 750W motor for the price I paid. I guess economies of scale really produce wonders.
That's the review I would have left on ali-express if they allowed more than 1000 characters. I will have to whittle it down. Just wanted to share my experience with other slick-deals users. I am not affiliated with slick-deals or ali-express or urlife in any way. I hope this is helpful to anyone considering this deal.

As a follow up after about 300 miles. Range on this bike is drastically effected by driving style. I can squeak out about 25 miles on throttle only by keeping it on PA1 (13Mph) and watching my watts usage and keeping it under 500. If I want to have fun...and go PA3...and keep it full throttle.. I get more like 16-17 miles. I am in the highest usage group as I am 240 pounds. I also have an extra battery on the back rack that adds 10 more pounds (Not used for these observations). Hills also multiply usage.

What average range are current owners getting on throttle alone on flat pavement? I already have my presumptions and just want to confirm.

Press the power on button quickly to switch displays from trip miles and trip time to odometer to pwr(watts) in the lower right corner.
This is important to know because on hot days....if you hold it to the max going uphill for extreme lengths of time, you can heat up the motor....as 500 watts is the rated or guaranteed level to hold constant.

$53 at Walmart https://www.walmart.com/ip/Schwal...559094
Using the old pencil against a wall trick. It's only about 7 mm less diameter so no worry about pedal strikes.
I'll use up both knobbies on the rears before putting one on the back
I just got a free Lectric XP4 but thinking to sell that for around $900 and just get one of these and keep some of the money. would it be viable to do it with these unbranded bikes?

Not everyone buying these are mechanically inept. Other than fixing the wheels/hub, my 12 year old could repair everything with little guidance. Except the wheels, all the parts are universally available/replaceable. And almost anyone could buy a 'non garbage' battery. This bike is affordable enuff to let people try it for very little.
