Coffee people, when ground, is this anything like Lavazza Kilimanjaro? Kilimanjaro was my absolute favorite and it is gone, I haven't found anything close.

What about the flavor part tho? Is he correct there as well?
I usually buy Lavazza Espresso Barista Gran Crema, and I always pick up a few when it's around $13 per 2.2 pounds.

Used to be indeed... but coffee prices have significantly increased, therefore $15 for a 2.2 lb bag is not bad at all
I think $15 for same size bag regular price in Costco...Confused

wondering as well if people have had this in their super automatic machines. I too almost drink Super Crema exclusively but I only buy it when its on sale and I get other Lavazza brand beans in between Super Crema sales
It's great in my super automatic (Gaggia Babila)

No. This is amazon. To state the obvious: If you want a roast dated coffee buy local or e-specialty. 99.998-1000% of amazon coffee in this price range will have only a "sell by" date.

How would you compare it to this medium roast by the same company?

Crema e Aroma is a better bet if you want a classic espresso with a bit of bite. This is especially true if you're making milk based drinks and need something to cut through. Gran Riserva is the 100% arabica blend that has consistently good crema and more intense and complex flavor. Unfortunately it's getting up to $30/bag (but still worth it, IMO). CeA is not quite as good but half the price...
