Not sure a person is gong to find anything "organic" with an SPF. Sunblock is typically oxybenzone, avobenzone, octinoxate chemical based or physical titanium oxide based.

Ours were a mess - as if they had melted somewhere along the line - and they did smell stale. Unfortunately I didn't find out until I opened one myself, after I had gifted half of them. I'll stick with Burt's Bees.
