any experience with this? i know its a budget unmanaged 1gb switch but my old budget tplink developed an annoying coil whine.

I don't have experience with this exact model but we have a couple of Netgear GS316EPP's at work for running IP cameras and knock on wood we haven't had a single issue.They've been running nonstop for about 3 years now.I've used a number of Netgear switches over the year's and they've always been reliable.
