these are pretty nice if you're in decent shape. I grew a belly and can't wear my beta right now LOL. I like them a lot though.

These are some unusual colors for the slopes. Don't know, maybe it would work for Tomorrowland Winter in the French Alps or something but not here.

Yes. Blue spectrum colors are off putting. Notoriously least favorite color.

What if someone makes fun of your jacket color on the slopes?!

I've had one for several years and it's a solid go-to piece of gear for me. Their stuff is definitely in buy-once, cry-once territory, but I don't regret it at all. In fact, I bought the SV jacket as well several years ago, and that's bombproof, amazing piece of gear.

This Atom jacket is the most comfortable jacket I own, especially when being active. They're breathable, stretchy and material is so soft - wish other more reasonably priced brands would copy this, would love to get a dup.

can anyone comment how this is different than the Patagonia micro or nanopuff jacket?? this seems to be more of the active insulation piece with more wind resistance

The fool is someone complaining about what people buy just because it's X price. You are aware some people make the price of this jacket in less than an hour right?

That said, 300 msrp is insane. I have 2 atom LT Hoody in S and they don't fit anymore. Need an M but I'm not paying 300 lmao. Overall Arc'teryx quality has gone down so I wouldn't buy any more. All the seams in my Beta LT jacket failed so I have to send it to warranty to be retaped. Atom LT vest is pillng. Plus they changed the warranty to practical life of product, not lifetime. I've had north face warranty a delaminated 10 year old goretex jacket with a gift card full MSRP of the product. I'm not sure Arc'teryx would do so since they can just claim it's outside of the practical life of the jacket.
