Given that the J9+ is about $570 at Walmart (not sure if it's the same exact model), I opted to go with the certified refurbished to replace my old Roomba from 9 years ago. So far, it's working well, it doesn't look like it's beat up, and it does a far better job at mapping my area as opposed to the old unit that just bumped into everything and went in random paths. In short, I took advantage of the deal and so far, I'm happy with the decision to not pay full list price.
