36 month warranty. Walmart AGM one (Everstart) is 4 year guarantee and slightly cheaper. Plus you have the convenience of swapping it at any Walmart in the country if you have an issue
I've had bad luck with a Yellow Top that shorted out after maybe 2+ years. It may have just been a one off, but even my junk yard lead acids have lasted longer than that.
20 years ago, I bought a vehicle and promptly replaced the battery with a Yellow Top. I'm no longer a fan. There aren't too many battery manufacturers now. Most are rebranded Diehard or Interstate. My last purchase was an AGM battery from Costco. It is a 36-month prorated warranty. Walmart and others seem prorated as well.

Can confirm, Everstart AGMs have been great for me. I have to admit the only reason I even considered it was because AGMs were hard to find after the pandemic, but I'm glad I tried it.

Agreed Walmart has a longer warranty and is much more convenient.
Buyer beware Amazon does not cover the manufacturer's battery warranty you have to go to the dealer. Optima dealer says you have to buy it from them to get the 36 month battery warranty honored so good luck in trying to get Optima to honor its warranty if does not last 36 months Buying automotive batteries from Amazon is a bad idea, unless it is more convenient for you and you like buying batteries every couple of years.
All AGM batteries I have bought in the past I made sure was made by Johnson Controls. They all have lasted me over 6 years and one a Costco/Kirkland/JC AGM battery lasted over 8 years on a daily driver Subaru Outback.

Optima Batteries SUCK!!!
They used to be good prior to 2000.
I've had multiple issues specifically with their yellow top.
Optima would NOT honor their own warranty.
You've been warned!

I concur. My last Optima red was defective and voltage drops. I asked for warranty and they would not honor it. They are not the same company anymore.

You, me and hundreds of others have the same complaint. Optima used to make outstanding batteries... but not any more. They went cheap several years ago to save a buck and destroyed a once awesome battery.

Glad I'm not the only one who experienced this crap. I bought one because they said it was the most reliable for my wife's car and it left her stranded in another town. Was only 2 years old and was a pia to get them to honor the warranty.

Idk how this can be easily and conveniently returned via Amazon. Kohls? Idk but probably better or worst than Costco. Walmart is good for what it worth.
