Daily drive one at the office and game with one at home. It's not fancy, but it works really well.

I've bought 3 over the years, all around this similar price. I swear my kids beat the hell outta them and sometimes they have issues with tracking in fps games when beaten up so I just buy another. Idk if that's a good or bad thing.

In past years the G305 at $30 was usually holiday pricing or Prime Day stuff. Now it's a lot more often

this isn't compact. It's mid sized an there's no reason to get an xl mouse unless you are Paul Bunyan. An there's no weight to it. M510 logitech I only *picked up* recently was more weight an smaller.

Tried it, really slimy, cheap plastics, not like the bigger G6xx series. Buttons to light & easy to click. Doesn't feel gud at all!
Really? This doesn't feel the same as a $250-$300 mouse? I never would have guessed.

the scroll wheel broke on mine, it seems that's fairly common as there are metal replacement's available. I swapped a metal one in and it feels great.

Can't imagine why a mouse that's aimed at being lightweight and fast would have thin plastic and easy to click buttons. Crazy! Sounds like you didn't do a 'gud' job researching it before buying. User error.

I got mine from aliexpress, if you search g305 mouse wheel you should find them, they fit other logitech models too.

I've had this mouse for a few years now. Like all modern mice my biggest issue is with the longevity of the micro switches. Every single modern mouse I've owned, Razers and Logitechs alike, suffer from micro switches that wear fast. This leads to the dreaded 'phantom clicks' when clicking or not registering a click at all. I replaced the switches in my mice to continue to use them. You can also request an RMA and they'll exchange it. I've done this before with another Logitech mouse, but that lifespan was also short lived.
