Very hard justifying getting this for $100 when just a couple of months back they had it for the same price with a case, a 4 ah AND a 2Ah battery for the same price. I'm sure that deal with circle back around.

I haven't tried these cordless saws but in general Ryobi has more tools in their system while Kobalt has a more modern battery shape (Ryobi has the NiCd battery shape to maintain compatibility with old tools). I personally like the kobalt tools so I'm in their system, but some people say now that lowes carries craftsman that could replace kobalt one day.

Why do you say that, they've had it a couple of times before. Is Kobalt getting rid of their stacking toolboxes?
