I think this is the lowest price or very close to the lowest price from last year on or about black Friday. I remember stalking Vudu and Fanflix waiting for a deal on Supernatural. Somehow I missed the ONE AND ONLY day they solid it at this price. That was frustrating, to miss one day of checking prices so I missed out on the deal.

I set up several alerts so I wouldn't miss it again. It's the same price on Fanflix or Vudu. It installs on Vudu only. Like 99% of TV shows it is NOT MA and HD only.

We can debate if at some point the show jumped the shark. There were some episodes that were not the best, even the creators of the show talk about how they regret the episode "bugs". But this being a great price for a great TV series is not up for debate.

As Dean says "Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole."

I recently finished watching all the episodes of Season 1, and I didn't find it to be as bad as some people seem to think. I'll definitely be adding it to my watchlist. I think it's important to remember that this is just entertainment and should be taken with a grain of salt.

According to CheapCharts it's the lowest price ever on ITunes.Previous low was $39.99 on 1/24/24. Outside of that it's never been below $69.99 on there.

You're right.

But thankfully only partially. There's a Collider article about it--Season 1 seems to have replaced music. According to the article, the other seasons retain the majority of it. Hopefully that's still accurate.

Thank you for this! Hard pass on the deal. I get the lack of licensing for streaming, doesn't mean I have to support it. CW did the same with Charmed, but only 10x worse because even the at home releases were wiped cleaned of the original music. Of course, there's a lot to look down upon Charmed related LOL.

In any case, it's just disappointing. The music is a character on the show, it sets the tone, it carries the moments, it's an integral part to their characters. Booooo on generic music.

I bought a year ago for 30, and I'm pretty sure it's tied for the lowest price ever (pre-discount code). It's possible that it's been available for 30 + 10% off code.

As someone that found this show on Netflix, so I only knew the "changed music" version, I eventually read about the music licensing issues many years later. I now have these on DVD also to gain back what I thought I lost. Google it and you will find

1 - Yes, several songs were changed
2 - NO, it does not make any sort of significant difference

TLDR: IMHO, ALL "licensed" songs they changed to another awesome/epic song that sill fits the scene.

As for this deal, IMHO buying any "online digital content" is a waste of $. You only own it until they lose their license with the actual owner or the company you bought from goes belly up.
