This model or the Eufy E28 model? I think e28 is better right?

This model I was told been best for mopping due to the suction while other brands essentially wipping the dirty water

This is like $300 less than last best price. It's being phased out but the next gen rollers won't be this price for at least a year.

Social media sites that are only slightly more independent than the company may tell you that. It depends on what you value. The S1 pro has superior obstacle recognition compared to the E28 and E25 even though it's an older generation.

Features are a different matter. Again depending on what you are looking for. Google and research are your friends. The s2 pro will be released soon. Not certain of the date, but it's close enough that Eufy is now clearing out the S1 pro

If this had been posted a full day earlier I would absolutely have purchased it. As it is, I'm 'gambling' on the new Narwal Z10 Utra (which is significantly more money) and just became available in the U.S. today.

Amazon gives you 30 days to decide. Use them wisely. Put any robot you purchase through multiple cleanings - both vacuum and mop. If you don't like it, take advantage of the 30 day return policy

I would buy this if I hadn't bought the x40 ultra. But I am really happy with the x40

In general it is true. But misrepresented as highly superior in the effort to sell more robots. There are multiple variables like how many times you set a pad mop to go back to the dock and wash. Or how close a roller will get to the edge/baseboard.

The Eufy S1 Pro is an excellent robot compared to a lot of what's out there. Google is your friend. In this case, one size does not fit all.

Be aware that roller mops will require more maintenance than pads. That's not a reason not to buy it. ..just what one can should expect

600 is a super price for this robot. If you have all hard floors, this is the robot to get.
