This is an OK deal, but....
SX is lower end. It will shift well, but it's heavy.
Shock and fork are lower end Fox, good enough for most. Simple and basic, but easy to setup, which is good when you don't know anything.
TRP high end brakes are well regarded. These aren't their high end.
At $1,400, you get a ready to ride trail bike that will be more than enough for a large majority of people. Pretty good deal.

not necessarily true unless this link is out of date.

it's a good deal, but GT is out of business so warranty won't be available in case something goes wrong.

Sorry, but there is a massive difference between a Marzocchi Bomber and a Fox 36. Comparing this bike to even a baseline High Tower is laughable.

Different dampers, but lots of shared parts.

Bomber Z2 = Fox 34
Bomber Z1 = Fox 36

Have you personally tried anything with GT? I was struggling to find an actual contact for a question I had regarding warranty

I want to call this a slickdeal, mainly on the price and components. Just realize you're probably getting a throwaway bike if the frame ever cracks. I'd rock this, but then again I'm fine building or rebuilding bikes from scratch.

Good basic entry level full suspension bike. If you're buying new this is hard to beat, parts are low end but nothing is total junk or unsafe. More than capable unless you're going to be hitting the gnarlier downhills.
