The last time I got free tickets on here it was for some post nuclear strike movie about this compound and letting the entire nation onto it.
It turned into a giant Bible thump type movie.
People in the comments kept saying "free is free!". Yeah, so is sitting on my porch for 2 hours, which would have been a better investment of the time.
Thanks but no thanks.
A handful of us have been trying to warn people here on SD whenever they get posted. Like you said, free is definitely not free.
I suspect something similar is happening with this movie, as if they were confident that they had a good product, they wouldn't be giving away free tickets.

Enjoy your FREE ticket. If you cannot attend, you must cancel your ticket prior to showtime per theater terms.
Any risk in not attending?

This movie just looks like a straight up disaster that the studio knows will bomb but for some reason they are trying to drum up interest instead of sending it straight to streaming. I never understood why this is done.
The only free screenings that I found to be good were the ones that were done for test audience purposes. I ended up only going to one for Game Night. It was a fun watch. I remember they used to do it often in our college town theater, but I think that stopped and I'm sad thinking about how I didn't take more advantage of that.
