I haven't had issues with Duracell in probably 7-8 years now (as far as leaking batteries go); when I did though, they were quick to send a check to cover the cost of the devices it damaged and a coupon for $20-25 worth of batteries. happened with an apple keyboard, an older digital camera and a camera flash.. in every case, they didn't require me to send the item in, just send a photo by email and they cut a check shortly after for the replacement cost

Currently the same price for 40 in store at Costco. Think they were on sale a couple weeks ago. Can also return if they suck.
