I was curious and I looked it up. The amazon site doesn't have as many details as the gigabyte website. The listing doesn't specify the revision, and in the lower left of the motherboard picture it shows an Eagle AX Rev 1.0. I suspect that this is a listing for the Elite AX rev 1.0/1.1
Gigabyte specifications are here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherbo...0-11/sp#sp
I wanted to know if the PCI-E 5.0 was in reference to the storage or if it was for the graphics card. The graphics interface is PCI-E 4.0 x 16.
It's a fine board. The "Elite" label from gigabyte means, among other things, that the fan headers can deliver 2A per header (24 watts for 12V fans / pumps). If you're going to install a lot of fans to a single connector or a water pump that'll be relevant.
be aware...this motherboard comes with a network adapter that might eventually stop working properly. mine stopped connecting to 5GHz and the Bluetooth connects then disconnects constantly for probably about 50 times before the Bluetooth device stays connected. this is a problem with motherboard network adapter, not the 3rd party device.
