These things are not removable because that adds weight, cost, reduces reliability (sockets are less reliable than factory soldered pins/BGAs), increases power consumption, etc.
What exactly is your point? If "upgradability" of individual motherboard components is important to you (at the expense of the other stuff I listed BTW), go buy a machine that has it? Do you seek to upgrade these components on your smartphone?
Adding RAM is less and less a "thing"; for most use cases adding RAM doesn't add performance, it just reduces battery life. If you need more than this thing has to offer, you probably will want a better processor anyway.
I know the ram is on the lite side, but it's also cheap
