My mini PC has Gen 4 only. Can this SSD reaches up to 11,700 MB/s as advertised with a gen 4 mini PC?

PCIe Gen 4 SSDs can achieve maximum sequential read speeds of around 7,000 MB/s

No. Gen5 NVMEs ignore the laws of thermodynamics. /s

Newer cpus, gpus, and RAM all go faster, use more power, and produce more heat. Why wouldn't NVMEs? There is no free lunch in this game.
Fascinating. Thanks for explaining this.
Are mobile phones ignoring the laws of thermodynamics? I can still hold my phone without getting burned after 10 years of development.
Have we been duped by phone manufacturers into buying "faster" phones every year?

This is false for all sorts of reasons, the most straightforward of which is that each successive generation of DDR RAM has markedly *decreased* power consumption per module, while simultaneously increasing speeds and density (maximum amount of memory supported on a single DIMM).
