Refurbished but mine came in like new. No scratches or damage. Ymmv ofc. This deal comes by often. Get the slate model when in stock for 4gb ram vs 3gb. Good enough for media, comics, manga. Also can be used for a Home Assistant control panel

I bought one last week when this deal was posted. I wanted it for the large screen size, for reading comic books. Came in the mail yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. Gotta keep the grandkiddos entertained.

came here to say this, the extra gig of RAM makes a world of difference. I've been using one that's been working solid for 2+ years. I bought one of these on the last sale to just get a backup, can confirm the slate is the plus model and mine came in like new condition.

The Slate color is actually the HD 10 Plus tablet. Get that one if possible.

Last time I bought a gen 9 hd10 from woot, for like $25.. They sent me a gen 11 that is great shape, however it had new enough firmware that hdtoolbox wont kill the bloat. Adding the play store seems to be performance killer too.. Think I might luck out again and get a gen 13? na.. Lightning wont strike twice on the same spot..

For this price, think of it as a firestick with a display and more.. yea its as low as you can go end, but there are uses for it.. Like put it in show mode and use it for all the ring apps..

Battery life is quite good..
