this battery's capacity is about 92 watt-hours. A typical laptop battery is 30-60 watt hours. There are some conversion losses, but you should get a full charge on a big laptop, and maybe two full charges on a small ultrabook.

I've had this power bank for about a year and it works perfectly. Great to charge a laptop on the go.

I never had one for the laptop. How many times you can charge a laptop with this charger? Just curious.
Depends on the size of the laptop but really probably only 1 full charge or maybe 1.5 times.

TSA has a size limit on batteries. If it's over 20,000 it'll get pulled usually

How do I get my laptop to charge with this thing if the laptop has a usb-c charge port but the charger plugs into a wall outlet and does not have a usb-c connector (just the side into the laptop does)?

You connect this USB-C power bank into your laptop via USB-C cable? It includes a cable.
Not sure what you're asking here.

Different. The 27k is AWESOME but heavier and a bit awkward. The 25k is awesome, and slightly less awkward, but not as fancy.
But the 27k has 140w changing both output and input so imo it's better, unless you just need it to charge small devices this is also a good option.

Ok thanks, I just have never charged a laptop without using the laptop charger itself lol. Makes sense

why don't you just tell the guy that it can only charge your laptop to 50% capacity. Generally it only have enough juice to boost up to 50% of most common laptop battery. So this is just for one of those "emergency" that you need a boost for your laptop to complete an important task.
how do you get 50% capacity for emergency boosts?

This is a 25,000mAh battery, and it looks like you get about 80% after heat and other losses. So if that is the case, it would supply about 20,000mAhs to devices. Laptops have between 5,000mAh and 10,000mAh batteries, depending on the model, so this can FULLY charge a laptop from 0% to 100% about twice.

I use mine when traveling in my car, finding it much more convenient than being teathered to a charger attached to the car. I will usually also just charge the power bank from the car, and operate the laptop at that time with it's internal battery.

No worries. It's just like charging a phone with a power bank.

You can't compare batteries with mAh unless they're at the same voltage. You need to use watt-hours (Wh) to compare capacity.
This power bank has a capacity of 92 Wh. And as you suggest, reduce that to 80% to account for losses; 73.6 Wh.

Laptops have batteries with up to 100Wh; for example, the laptop on which I'm typing this right now has a battery capacity of 99.9Wh.
A MacBook Pro 16 laptop has a 99.6Wh battery.

So, most laptops will get about 1 full charge or less out of this battery bank.
My laptop, or a MacBook pro, would only be able to charge 74% from this bank.

Now, if you have a small cheap laptop this power bank might go a bit further. For example, the $130 Lenovo chromebook linked below only has a 47Wh battery, so you could charge it 1.5 times. But that's an unusually small battery. I assume most people on here aren't using $130 chromebooks.

I don't know of any laptop that has a battery small enough that this bank could charge it 0-100% twice. Do you know of any laptop with a 36.8Wh battery?
