Actually, it's a bit simpler than it may seem. Office LTSC does get updates, just not the same kind as Microsoft 365.
It receives security updates and bug fixes, so the system stays stable and protected. What it doesn't get are new features or interface changes that Microsoft rolls out from time to time in 365.
LTSC is meant for people who value reliability and consistency without constant changes.
And honestly, how many new features do we really need in Word? Most people use the same core tools anyway.

Worst case, the key is disabled at some point. I've bought this type of keg many times and Ive never had that happen. I believe these types of companies will give you a new key if it expires within a certain timeframe, but again I've never had one stop working.

Do your research, at this price, legitimacy is in question.

The license is probably real and provides a real MS product; however, please note this is an LTSC license. I bought this from another vendor and found out the hard way. That vendor, like this one, didn't say it was LTSC. I don't get updates, help doesn't work, etc.

Correct. LTSC 2024 is the only current MS office alternate option to a monthly 365 subscriptions. And while new feature updates are not provided, the security/bug coverage extends for a period of 5 years after the release date. This support termination date is also referred to as the "end of life " date.

This has been the case for every non-subscription Office product going back almost 20 years ago to Office 2007. For example, this offering...LTSC 2024... will receive updates until Oct 2029. The previous offering...Office 2021...will receive updates until next year in Oct 2026. For the prior offering... Office 2019... updates ended in Oct 2023. Here's a link to a chart showing End of Life dates for all MS Office products:

https://endoflife.date/office.

I've been using these non-subscription Office suites for almost 15 years going back to Office 2010 and have never missed the "feature updates" shiny glitter that MS wraps around the 365 subscription. However my only complaint about the 2024 version is that MS in all of its wisdom has decided to remove Publisher. My wife...who really hates change... has used it for years and is crushed that it's going away. So I have a year to work on some alternatives for her but it's not going be fun.
LTSC is fine, stable, 5 years of updates — no problem. But killing Publisher? That's classic Microsoft logic: keep adding "AI glitter" to Word and Excel that half of us never touch, but remove the one program people like your wife have actually been using for decades. Brilliant move.

Seems too good to be true. The site has a 4.8/5 on Trustpilot, but is Trustpilot reliable?
Who is going to watch the watchmen?
I dunno, Coast Guard?

So ... You bought a product from a company that provided you clear instructions on how to install it. You ignore the instructions and try to activate it your way. Activation fails and it's the company's fault. Got it.

is there any risk to use these codes?
Yes. I bought this from another vendor. Stopped working after a few months, and I had fraudulent overseas charges on my credit card immediately after making the purchase.

I have bought these keys from several sites going back several versions of Office. Never had an issue with deactivation. Ever since the employee purchase program went away. I have 2024 installed on the system I am typing this on. Downloaded it from MS about a week after release. I didn't buy a key for this version. It was too long ago, so I don't know if I used Musgrave or how exactly I did it. There are instructions all over on how to activate it. There were even some Youtube videos walking you through the process. I watched one of those and worked like a charm. I don't know if videos are still around. I imagine they get yanked pretty quick. Just do a little search, you should find it.

I did. Bought this deal and replaced office 2013 with 2024. Worked like a charm.

My access databases imported without error too. It's good to question gray market ms office keys but from my experience this vendor has been legit. Also bought ms visio keys.
i thought they discontinue access.
