Actually, it's a bit simpler than it may seem. Office LTSC does get updates, just not the same kind as Microsoft 365.
It receives security updates and bug fixes, so the system stays stable and protected. What it doesn't get are new features or interface changes that Microsoft rolls out from time to time in 365.
LTSC is meant for people who value reliability and consistency without constant changes.
And honestly, how many new features do we really need in Word? Most people use the same core tools anyway.

Worst case, the key is disabled at some point. I've bought this type of keg many times and Ive never had that happen. I believe these types of companies will give you a new key if it expires within a certain timeframe, but again I've never had one stop working.

I'm still rocking my MS office 2016 Home Use Program (HUP) that I got from my work perks for $10. Contemplating moving to this now
I miss the hell out of the HUP. I still have all the discs. Unfortunately, the current HUP is just a 30% discount on a yearly subscription Frown

Do your research, at this price, legitimacy is in question.
Are you suggesting the software would be a security concern if installed?

Seems too good to be true. The site has a 4.8/5 on Trustpilot, but is Trustpilot reliable?
Who is going to watch the watchmen?

Since it's a 3 machine limit, can one uninstall Office to put it on another machine?

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, but there are major caveats with this "deal".

Lifetime means the life of the install, not your lifetime. If your drive fails, or you just want to wipe your drive and reinstall for some reason, you're out of luck.

IOW, these are SINGLE INSTALLS ONLY. If they said "single install only" it wouldn't be as attractive, but on a positive note it is good for the life of that install. And it means you don't have to use that 365 garbage where you pay every month and MS is always "in your business"...

Careful with this one. The recommended installer download link is NOT coming from Microsoft. I purchased it, but going to use the MS Deployment tool directly from Microsoft using the code I go post purchase.

Office Deployment Tool from the Microsoft Download Center

How does the 3 PCs work, like do they give you 3 keys or does the key just work 3 times?
Thanks in advance!

For $6.67 per install, I don't think that's a major caveat, IMHO. I'll take it. Great deal.

Can this "lifetime" license be transferred to a new/different device? Or, once you activate it on a device, it's done?

I have bought these keys from several sites going back several versions of Office. Never had an issue with deactivation. Ever since the employee purchase program went away. I have 2024 installed on the system I am typing this on. Downloaded it from MS about a week after release. I didn't buy a key for this version. It was too long ago, so I don't know if I used Musgrave or how exactly I did it. There are instructions all over on how to activate it. There were even some Youtube videos walking you through the process. I watched one of those and worked like a charm. I don't know if videos are still around. I imagine they get yanked pretty quick. Just do a little search, you should find it.
You mean activation without a code?
