They can save on shipping if you buy multiple items. They might need to tape them together. I thought my $12 ea for 4 was very reasonable offer. He declined it. Why put offers wanted if you won't take them? My offer price is likely his asking price or more considering how much I saved him with shipping. Meh, why I don't ebay anymore.

This seller is basically targets ebay clearance entity. Probably just following corporate guidelines, whereas a small ebay seller might come to the same conclusion you did.

Could be. I never liked clearance liquidators either. Put big sign up to 70% off and only have things 10% off. Each week another 10 but still if the store was closing not like 10 off was a bargain vs normal sales. Sporting goods chain stores and chain stores I've been in that were closing. I guess the only good things were the last week if you found something 90% off that wasn't junk. Most was all well picked over at 40% which was a normal sale if you waited for the week shoes or such were on sale there.
