Hoping these come down a bit more for BF, decent price is you need something now. Processor is okay, great on battery but lacking on multithread performance. Solid iGPU for light gaming.

Get the 16" version instead. Open box is 850. My daughter is using it. Great non-gaming laptop. 3.5 lbs.

Different model, different processor, lesser RAM, and also, it's not available.
Secondly, $850 for open-box is not a good deal as it has been $899 for new in the past.

The Ryzen 365 is a much stronger processor than the 258v in this deal.

IMO for portable light work this 14" is the way to go. If you are doing anything demanding plus need more work space the 16" is absolutely a better deal as the 258v will bog down..

We weren't comparing the power of the processors, but yes, it's well-known that the Ryzen is more powerful.
And this is a 14" laptop thread, this is a different niche for people, and no one would come here looking for a 16" device and talking about it. But yes, if it was available and someone wanted a larger device, then that's the device to get.

No reason to go for Lunarlake when the 285H exists or the 365/370HX.

Best Lunarlake device is unironically the MSI claw 8 Ai. It's cheaper, better build and about the same battery life.

Price showing up as $1299.00 online. Is there anything I'm missing?
