This is a decent deal but the 6GB variant of the 3050 uses a 96-bit memory bus instead of the usual 128-bit.

Yes, and a good 300-nits 100% sRGB display and a powerful processor. Gaming laptops at this price, although they might have a better GPU, have inferior processors, inferior 250-300 nits 45% NTSC displays, and/or come with 8-12GB RAM.

Absolutely. Not knocking the post at all - especially with DLSS, gaming laptops like this can go a lot further than people think. Not everyone needs a 5080 mobile to play games at comfortable frame rates. Unless it's Borderlands 4, lol.

Im looking to recommend a gaming lapotop to my friend at this price.
Would this be able to Warzone / BO 6/7 at high or ultra settings and maintain high FPS?

No. The RTX 3000 series launched 5 years ago, and the 3050 is the slowest card of that generation. If you want to run modern games at ultra settings and high FPS you will need to get something better than this.
