This has been in my cart a few days and likely is a price match to BH photo's price. Expectation is that this deal will end on Sep 20 at 11:59 PM ET

pros: cheap
cons: compared to ironwolf PRO, it is less sturdy. while a NAS HDD, built for prosumer/home business users; ironwolf pro is built for business grade read/write access. regular ironwolf is like 2or3 yrs warranty and ironwolf pro is like 5 years warranty. the yearly write is more than double or something to that effect.

May not matter for most people. I just like knowing I'm getting the most out of my money lol

I don't have this 12TB exact model, but I do have the Seagate IronWolf Pro 18 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive ordered on Nov. 2022 for $276+Tax , and it's working perfectly since probably Jan 2023. It didn't get put together because the motherboard I wanted was a bit hard to come by until Feb, 2023. No problems at all.

I wonder if you're better off getting refurb 14TB WD HC530 from ServerPartDeals for like 140 instead of this. I keep logs on how much I pay for drives and the last time I bought 12TB drives they were <$100, just like a year and a half ago. Insane!

Deal is still live on Amazon. Oddly enough, on my account - amazon did a count down timer stating deal was over yesterday....... marketing tricks!

BH Photo prices have reverted to 249.99 however.
