these never specify the kHz rate options as a main stat and it ticks me off.

OK in the last photo, these look decent.

48khz and not like the many that top out at 44.1

IMO, these are great for budget mics and a big step up from the cm28 that was about the same price on SD recently.

How does this compare to the dji mic currently on sale? Is this a budget wireless lav mic, and are there good-value, mid-tier options?

Real question: what are these for?
These can record interviews or best use case for videographers in weddings, get the clear audio from the center of attention and have it transmitted back to the video camera using line out plug that plugs direct into your mic port to go along with the camera that is pointed in the direction of the center of attention, so audio track is available recorded to the 8GB space available on the receiver unit, and also if plugged to the camera then the camera will record it with video. Another scenario is for grabbing audio near the main speaker if you're not allowed to clip the transmitter mic near the microphone(s). Some can use it with a PA system as a different option if you need to be mic'd up but you'll need a feedback destroyer unit so you don't get random feedback from walking too near your own/a speaker that is blasting your voice out. Where ever you see a tutorial on YouTube, you may see a DJI clip on mic, well, these do the same thing nearly, at half price, and you'll want to listen to a voice audio comparison between these units and DJI comparable (pretty sure dozens of reviews have done a comparison somehow) and you'll need to listen on earbuds or good headphones. Or compare with Amazon $20 budget lapel mic that hooks direct to the phone and listen to that audio, whether with noise cancellation on and off. There are different scenarios of using lapel mics and you have to choose between either an on camera mic or a separate on camera mic like the Rode audio shotgun style mics or just getting into using a lapel mic and using it outside to grab audio without noise cancellation or to focus on your own voice and have it heard clear with the noise cancellation on. Streamers can use it if they are gaming with a VR headset and using it while streaming say like on Twitch, and so and so.The system can record now into the 8GB space and retrieve later AND live audio via different plugins you have to use the lapel mic system. Just gotta practice and change the flow of work if you're incorporating the system into your video/audio recordings. Mic check with be a bit more often before the live event happens, whatever audio you're trying to make sure it records.

this CM31 can record directly to a camera, an iphone or Android. In addition, it has 8GB of internal memory for each TX unit to store audio, if you want to run-and-gun recording.

Quote from djdumbbiiThese wireless lapel mic systems can be used in a variety of ways:🎥 Videography / Weddings • Capture clear audio directly from the center of attention. • Audio can be transmitted back to the video camera through the line-out plug (connected to the mic port). • The receiver also records to its 8GB internal storage, so you'll have a backup. • If connected to the camera, the audio will sync with the video automatically.🎤 Live Events / Speakers • Useful for grabbing audio near the main speaker when clipping a mic directly on them isn't possible. • Can be used with a PA system, but you may need a feedback destroyer to prevent audio feedback if you walk too close to speakers.📱 Comparisons & Alternatives • Similar to the DJI clip-on mic systems you see in YouTube tutorials—but at about half the price. • To judge quality, listen to review comparisons between these units and DJI's version using good earbuds or headphones. • You can also compare them to a $20 budget lapel mic that plugs into your phone, with and without noise cancellation.🎙️ Lapel Mic vs Other Options • Decide between: • An on-camera mic (shotgun style like Rode). • A lapel mic for outdoor or personal voice recording. • Lapels are great for: • Isolating your own voice. • Using noise cancellation when needed.🕹️ Streamers / VR Gamers • Can be used for Twitch or VR setups while gaming. • Provides both live audio (via plugins) and stored recordings (retrievable from the 8GB space).⚡ Tips • Expect to practice and adjust your workflow when incorporating this into your recordings. • Do mic checks more often before live events to ensure clean audio capture. There, I tried it. Now SD is gonna mess up the formatting and still have you go for some friendly feedback.
