I have this headset and love it! I had the previous Virtuoso and loved it too. I am actually getting a replacement because the headband is falling apart (glue came apart, and the seam broke)... but great customer service.

The headset is amazing.

how many total hours or average hours per day did you wear them before the glue/seam issue started.

A lot. It wasn't something like 25 hours or even 40. Much much more. That said, battery life is great too!

I wonder how the weight and range are on these, that was my biggest gripe with the old model. They were too heavy to wear for too long and the wireless range was awful.

Can't speak about the range but I do wear these at work... They do tend to get a bit uncomfortable during longer calls (>30 minutes).. I can deal with that as I'm not on calls all day long but I feel like if I gamed with mine, I might be distracted enough not to notice the discomfort

I was curious about these but it is a common complaint that these are not very comfortable headphones due to poor padding on the headband and ear cups. They are actually heavier than previous Virtuoso headphones as well. Still, not bad for $100. I would definitely look into buying new ear pads if you got this though.

I had the old version... headband and ear cups fell apart so quick. I think I had 3 earcup replacements within the 2 year warranty, and the whole unit was replaced at the 1.5 year mark because of the headband. Then the new unit had the same issues and more. Frequently disconnecting and battery went from 16-20 hours down to like 8 hours. Side tone died completely and Corsair wouldn't do anything about it as soon as warranty was up. Couldn't even sell me a new battery. Replacement batteries on Amazon were worse than the original.

I couldn't deal with it anymore. Sound and comfort were both great but for $200 I expected way more longevity than 18 months. I replaced it with a Logitech Pro X 2 and so far 14 months in it's been perfect, sounds way better than the original Virtuoso, and more comfortable too

25~40hr per day seems too much.

I wonder if Corsair swapped the ear pads on this maybe?

I got these instead of the Dyson Ontrac headset. Biggest con I hear about these is comfort. I'll find out soon enough.

Careful if you enjoy sidetone, it does not exist with this headset

I owned the last gen and the first gen of these and both would get uncomfortable after long periods. I found the headset heavy and my ears would get hot after wearing them for a while. I also found battery life to not be all that great.
The sound and mic on these are both fantastic though. If you play games where sound is important like Tarkov, the tuning options can give you a serious advantage.
I now have the HyperX Cloud II and Sony Nzone earbuds (my main). Battery life on both were superior to the Virtuoso and the HyperX set is lighter and more comfortable but the sound profile was not as good.

I got this last time it was on sale.

The battery life is terrible--maybe I got a lemon? Lasts maybe 3 hours.
The comfort is not good for me.
The sound does not match my Nova 7X.
I have a Nova 7X and find it superior in pretty much every department.
