But by using crimp fittings, you are negating at least one of the benefits of expansion fitting for Pex a, the better flow rate through the fittings.

I'd like to have this, but I can buy 5 different sets of Cinch Pex Ring tools for less than this. Really hard for me (hobbyist, rental owner) to justify.

I just did a small plumbing project and just used a manual expander tool that I bought for $70

I would buy this if I was a plumber that was doing this all day every day .

I'll have to look into that! The fittings appear the same diameter to me, but I'm not a professional. Would love to learn more.

That is why you are supposed to buy one size larger for pex-b. You need 1/2, you use 3/4.
