better is subjective when it comes to sound. these are likely less bassy in room and will image better than the kanto

They're not even in the same league. The only benefit of the kanto is they're self powered, you'll need your own amp for these. I use an older version of these, the Q100 on my desktop. The huge advantage of coaxials on a desk is there's less comb filtering from you moving around in relation to the distance between your ears tweeters and woofers.
