I just use a metal file. The rough side smooths feet, the fine side smooths nails. It never gets dull.

These file down your dead skin evenly unlike A metal file(rasp) your feet will stay rough eventually the roughness will spread with A rasp.

These are good for sanding 3D prints. They also make cordless ones though around the same price on Amazon that may be more convenient
