Isn't the Profitec a single boiler? Can not even compete, I have had the Oracle and loved it.. pretty sure this one comes with the newer Etzinger burrs, so probably does better than my old one. When I moved across country I did switch to a Sette 270Wi (because I got it secondhand for $200) and paired it with a rancilio silvia.. i switched basically back and have a BDB now.

On the fence with this one. Been debating between a Bosh 800 and a Phillips 5500. Both are a more complete solution as far as preparation, listed as fully automatic. Is service/parts widely available for the Breville brand?

For about the same price you can get the KitchenAid KF8 on the Whirlpool inside pass site. It's made by same company that does Jura and Miele and is a true Super Auto.

Can't believe the hate some posters here are giving this. I have had this machine for almost 10 yrs now and absolutely love it, its without doubt the best machine I have ever owned. I have owned manual machines, Auto's, super autos... And this thing beats them all! For the record, this is the price I paid for it 10 yrs ago, and I really havent seen it drop this low since... At this price in todays economy, its a great buy. Just by $2 worth (2c worth has been chewed up with inflation) Wink

Some of the fully automatic can't get the milk very hot. It's tepid at best. The brevilles gets the milk as hot as you like.
