5 lb is $4.99 which is a tad cheaper per ounce even though S&S is limited to 5% max.

Also both have extra 10% off 4 which stacks with S&S:

If all you need is a non-fragrant jasmine rice then this will do.. No scent whatsoever other than a slight cardboard musk.

Walmart is less at 5.8cents per oz, but you have to buy 20 lb bag [walmart.com].

Never tried it myself, but I suspect it's not tasteless.

For jasmine rice? My Aldi says $6.85 for 5lbs on the website. The website always has a bit of a markup then in store, but it's gotta be like $5.50+ in store

I just came from there and they only had 2 lb bags which were $2.49. We were getting 20 lb bags of Great Value jasmine rice at Walmart for $16.99 for a long time, but it went up to $18.99 the last month or so. Still, it is the cheapest we have found and my wife, who is Thai, said it is OK.

Can anyone suggest the cheapest rice to buy to fill a 6 gallon paint bucket for a ball player to strengthen hands?

My Costco has Kirkland Thai Jasmine rice for $21.99/25lb (which comes out to the equivalent of $17.60/20lb) and Royal Basmati rice $17.99/20lb.

I usually get my rice when it's on sale on Amazon for cheaper, but those are good options if I run out.

I saved a few thick 5lb resealable rice bags and I just spread any large bag we get into them so they stay sealed and are easier to take out and pour/scoop
