I like the dual shock absorbers feature because I do not want to be changing flats. So the hard tires are my first choice. This scooter has plenty of power, speed, and range.

I've been following these threads, and see the buyer's remorse and lament for those who went with the sub $150 options, such as LP60, LP80. I looked into the EXMax but pneumatic tires are not for me. I want to avoid that maintenance and opted for solid tires with shocks to get the best of both worlds.

I just received mine. Rained out for 2 days, though.
Update: It dried up, and I got to take her for a spin. Very nice and powerful acceleration with a smooth ride, just as expected from the reviews.
  • Easy assembly and pairing with the app.
  • High quality, sturdy build
  • Shocks giving a very smooth ride, to compensate for the solid tires.
They took away the coupon for a day and dropped its value this time when it came back, but this price is still with $10 of the last post I made, which was a popular deal. So for those who missed out, enjoy.

This is my next purchase, I bought a LP80 for my teenage daughters to try out. The 350w motor on the LP80 is too weak for the long hill going up to the highschool, so the 500w motor on the LPMAX would be what's needed. Also the suspension in the front would make it so much more enjoyable to ride. However I have noticed none of these Ladped scooters are UL certified. The charger is UL certified but not the scooter itself. So if that matters to you just be aware.

Unless you only live in a new suburb that has unbroken bike paths, get something with front suspension. Spend the extra money!

Thank you for supporting this one! Too many folks hating their hard-tire scooters with no suspension.

I am super happy with my LP80, no hills though in Chicago and yes it can be bumpy if not a smooth street but can easily dodge the potholes.

It's funny you mention 'the long hill going up to the highschool', because that's exactly why I'm looking for something like this - for my daughter. I just wonder what size motor will be sufficient. And,.. how well something like this would hold up in rain.

I can't tell any better than you could from the pics of each. There are similarities for most scooters, but not looking like a copy or "clone".

Just got mine this afternoon and registered an account to warn anyone who is planning on getting the scooter. The scooter looks okay and comes in well packed box. However, the app control the scooter is not working. The connection is unstable and will go off randomly in short time after connecting. You need to exit and open app to connect again and the disconnect in a moment. Spent my whole afternoon trying to solve this issue but got no luck. Ask the seller and got no help. you can't use the app to lock or unlock the scooter. Lots of people left comment in the App says they got locked and can't connected. Trying to return not sure will AliExpress approve that

AliExpress has a 90-day free return policy as stated right on the product page. Maybe they will exchange it for you if you like. Seems like the BT on the scooter is the problem.

AliExpress declined return. If you need to use App for locking, save you time and avoid this scooter.

Tell them you will be making a chargeback, as it was defective on arrival. Take a video for proof if you didn't already. Their policy does not exclude this item for returns as far as I can tell. It states free returns right on the page. I looked at the details and see no exclusion for this (unless you left some detail out). I do not understand what they are denying you for. I'm saving my box for the 90 days, just in case.

I don't know why I didn't think about it before. If you get a 350w scooter when you get going up the hill and start going 5mph or less just give the ground a kick with your foot to get a little boost on the hill. It'll give the electric motor an assist and you might be able to make it up. If all else fails you can walk it up the remaining bit of the hill. Honestly it's not that big of a problem. The LP80 is great. But it's not UL certified.....so there is a fire hazard.
